"Children are as clay in a potter's hands. Teachers, be as potters. Mold your students into beautiful and productive works of art."

This quote came to me while I was working on a presentation about differentiated learning for an educational psychology class I am currently enrolled in. So often, teachers accept their students "just as they are" and never entertain the idea that they are malleable beings just waiting for the encouragement to become amazing and unique vessels filled with knowledge.

"Let education reach every child."

"With regard to knowledge, you can never give what you don't have."

It makes me improve my teaching by learning more and more to share to my students.

"When you fear losing something, and you do not do what is right, you definitely lose it."
Written in 2006 by Samuel Osebeyo --- Nigeria
This is for schoolteachers who are afraid of correcting their students when they go wrong. I was inspired to write it when I looked around my environment.

"You must first know what people need, and then invest yourself where you are most needed."
Russell H. Conwell

"Great minds have purposes; others have wishes. Little minds are tamed and subdued by misfortune; but great minds rise above them."
Washington Irving

I made up this quote when I was writing a research paper on Genocide. It really opened up my eyes in the way I think about the world. It made me realize how good we have it.

"No one is responsible for anything. The only thing they're responsible for is opportunity."
Mark Dawson --- Submitted by R.P., Age 16 --- California
My history teacher mentioned this during a lecture about WWII and immigration. Opportunity, to me, is the only thing you need from someone else to be successful.

"Never get through but go by."
Written in 2006 by Janielle M., Age 14 --- Michigan
Because I think if you always take the easy way out, you will never get anywhere in life.
