"FOR TEACHERS & EDUCATORS"
-

"When I first started high school, and I had all these mean teachers, I thought I'd never like high school. I dreaded going. Then I heard about a new club meeting called the Future Teachers of America. I always wanted to be a teacher, so I joined. That may have just been the greatest decision I've ever made. I met the most wonderful teacher I've ever known. She not only got me wanting to be a teacher even more, I wanted to be a teacher just like her. I used to get to school really early just to be with her for longer. She cares so much for her students and treats them with respect. Even though she's at another school now, I still carry her in my thoughts and I like to think there's a part of her in me. I hope that one day, when I become a teacher, there's a part of her in me that shows the great teacher she is."

Thank you Mrs. Cory for being a great teacher and admirable friend. I miss you a lot and I think of you often!!

"There are so many things that I would like to say to the person that has changed my life in so many ways butI guess what I really want to and have to say to Mrs. Jeanne Pearson is this:

Girl, you have helped me through so many things since just my Freshman year and I am only a Sophomore. I love you so much and I thank the Lord everyday that he has put someone so special on the earth (which was enough because I KNOW you do this world SO MUCH GOOD) and then he put YOU in my life! You have no idea how much that means to me! When I come to your room everyday just to say 'Hi', and you just smile and say 'Good Morning Kayli', makes my day so much better! You are an AWESOME TEACHER!

REMEMBER: I LOVE YOU GIRL and REMEMBER TO SMILE! That bright smile can't go without being flashed at least once a day!"

This is for my lovely parents; they are the best teachers for me.

"I've learned that others help keep you going long after you can't. I have had the opportunity to learn and love two special teachers that have touched my life in more ways then they could ever know. Miss McGinley, you will always be in my heart for helping me through the toughest time of my life. In two years you gave me more than most can give in a lifetime. You help keep me whole. Mrs. Mattachini, the acceptance you give is more than anyone could wish for. I will never forget the friendship we developed and the happiness you gave me."

There are so many great teachers at my old high school. I am so grateful that Ms.Fericelli was my English and Connect Crew teacher. Every one loves her, I know I do and miss her terribly. Every one I've ever known that has had her or has known her has always said that she is so great. So many students always went to her classroom to talk to her and get advice on problems. Even though she had her own worries, she was always willing to help others.

God must have given this wonderful woman so much strength to do what she does everyday, change lives! Ms. Fericelli was always there for me. She is a loving and caring teacher and those who have ever had a chance to know her know just exactly how amazing she is. I loved to go to the two classes I had with her. She made me become better at English and made Connect Crew an experience of a lifetime that I will never forget. English will never be the same without her. I often go to English missing her and remembering how great she is and what she did for me. She was always there for anything I needed to talk about. Ms. Fericelli, I want you to know you mean the world to me, I miss you terribly, and I love you.

Another teacher I must talk about is Ms. Skalicky. She was my drama teacher in 9th grade. I really liked that class, it was so much fun to go to. If a teacher makes a class fun and interesting, such as she did, it makes you actually want to go!! She would tell us her crazy stories about how she used to be a belly dancer and eat fire!! She's so funny!!

I became a cheerleader in 11th grade and Ms. Skalicky was the advisor as well as the pep club advisor. She was really supportive and proud of me and all of the cheerleaders. This woman has real Hilltop spirit! I liked having her at the games to see me cheer and have always liked to drop by her classroom just to say hello. I was so happy when I found out I received the faculty scholarship; I didn't even know they had that! Ms. Skalicky nominated me, which was very kind of her.

Ms. Skalicky, Thank you for all that you have done for me. You are an incredible teacher and person.

I love you Ms.Fericelli and Ms.Skalicky!!! You're both wonderful people I will never forget!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my beloved English teacher for always being there to talk to, for always inspiring me to do my best, and for just loving me.

I will start off by saying Veronica Anderson is the best teacher I will ever meet and I want to thank her. She has always been there for me and has done things for me she didn't need to do. I admire her very much and hope to be like her in a few years. She teaches math and that's what I want to teach. Following her path will be hard because she is one of a kind, but I can be myself and try to be as great as she is. Thank you and I will always love you.

"Take time to think about what you have done for us. You have changed us from growing up to be stupid to being the smartest people on God's green earth. Some people don't appreciate the things you have done for us. I want to thank all of you for what you have done."

I would like to thank my teacher, Senora Witt. She always comes to school with a smile on her face and ready to teach. She cares about every single student and how well they are succeeding. She puts all her energy into giving assignments that are meaningful, but fun at the same time.

Senora, I can't thank you enough for being the caring, inspirational, and most important, loving person that I need in my life. My dream is to become a teacher just like you. I want to make a difference, just like you have done in my life. I know that I met you for a reason. You are a true angel. I love you with all my heart. Thank you!

On this website there have been many people writing about their favorite teachers being the greatest teachers in the world. This is true in their world, but in mine the two greatest teachers ever have remained in my life since high school.

I don't just admire them, I love them for being great and amazing people in my life. So for those people who say they hate teachers, think again because some teachers change lives forever!

Ms.Bennett and Ms.Schuster are exactly these type of teachers. You can talk to them about anything. They are able to empathize with you, they remember what it's like growing up by putting themselves back in the shoes you are now in. They understand and help you in any way they can, not solely by education, but by so much more than that! If God hadn't created teachers such as these, many would be in a completely lost world.

Counselors change lives as well as teachers do. My high school counselor, Ms.Rindone has changedmy life forever. She is also one of the greatest people any one could ever ask for. I am so grateful that God has put her in my life as well. Ms.Rindone has always been there for me and cares so much. She's the type of person you love being around for simply just being her, making your world a better place. She can change your whole day around. Differences have been made in the lives of other kids as well as my own.

I had a problem that she legally had to tell on, which was painful then, but I do not mind anymore because I think it was supposed to happen. If I hadn't told her, I don't know if it would have been helped as quickly as it was.

I want to thank God for these three wonderful people that are my friends. They are all like mentors to me as well, without them I don't know what I would do.

Trying Hard

Trying hard means trying your best,
Always helps you pass the test.
Homework, homework is what we say.
No matter what, we have it mostly every day.
To me school is all right,
But after everyday, I know I'll be standing acknowledged and bright.
