I wrote this in response to how I have been living my life and observing those around me. I am saddened at times with the frenetic pace people are living their lives. Children are whisked away from sporting event to sporting event almost every night of the week. In many cases, one parent taking one to one place and the other somewhere else. Adults spending 60-70 hours a week a work seeking that next promotion where they will work 60-70 hours week for the next. Time is a commodity like money. The more thought that goes into planning its use, the greater the return. Once it's gone though, it's gone. Spend $20-25 zipping through for fast food on the way to your next appointment or use that same time and spend that same amount to fix and share a meal together.
