"93 Wise Thoughts of the Day"

"Love all, Hate none. Live, Let live. Don't suffer, enjoy. The bottom line is we all die, so why waste your time being upset? Enjoy life to the fullest extent, which translates into; Love all, Hate none. The next time anyone angers you, thank them for helping you to become a better person. The world will soon begin to realize that being upset allows us the chance to learn."

My wish to you is all my love"

Each One A Honeymoon
While looking at honeymoon pictures,
On the beach walking hand in hand;
Not knowing what the years would hold,
No cares with our feet in the sand.

The day we watched the sea gulls soar,
That night we fished the sea.
Stars above, unquestioned love,
Life was new for both you and me.

And I recall as we sat in the booth,
Enjoying conversations and times untold;
Driving the island in that red jeep,
As Stevie Wonder sang his song "Stay Gold..."

Memories etched in our newly-wed minds,
I still remember them as I know you do;
And I wouldn't change a thing from then,
Our first kiss or first "I love you..."

I re-visit that time, the place and you,
It seems it came and left too soon;
But I recognize that each day you're near,
You make each one a honeymoon.

THE FIVE FREEDOMS:
The freedom to see and hear what is here, instead of what "should" be, was, or will be.

The freedom to say what you feel and think, instead of what you "should" feel and think.

The freedom to feel what you feel, instead of what you "ought" to feel.

The freedom to ask for what you want, instead of always waiting for permission.

The freedom to take risks on your own behalf, instead of choosing to be only "secure".

"On the way to 2000...
I did not "hoard" away food, gasoline, water or ammunition. Instead I packed my "get-a-way" bag with something I hold more necessary for survival. I loaded up my soul with the love of all those I hold dear to me. I locked their images deep inside my heart. I say "images" because on New years Eve I was unable to be with most of the ones I love the most."

I traveled by e-mail to New Zealand when it was before noon in the USA Dec. 31, 1999... there it was already 2000. I felt that I had traveled into the future. With me I took and brought back Love, Hope, Faith, and Inspiration. What more could I ask for! I had a magical glimpse of 2000 and it looked wonderful to me.

"Here we are at the beginning of a new century. While the alarmists warn of a commuter meltdown, I prefer to meditate on the natural world. The stars will still sparkle, the sun will warm. The trees will stay rooted, and the squirrels will continue to forget where they buried their nuts. Robert Browning said it more eloquently: 'The year's at the spring, And the days's at the morn; The lark's on the wing: The snail's on the thorn: God's in his heaven; All's right with the world.' "

STRIVING TO BE A MAN
I wish I were big enough honestly to admit all my shortcomings;
Brilliant enough to accept flattery without it making me arrogant;
Tall enough to tower above deceit;
Strong enough to treasure love;
Brave enough to welcome criticism;
Compassionate enough to understand human frailties;
Wise enough to recognize my mistakes;
Humble enough to appreciate greatness;
Staunch enough to stand by my friends;
Humble enough to be thoughtful of my neighbor;
And righteous enough to be devoted to the love of God.
