WHEN THE TIDE COMES IN

It's not always easy on the shores of life.
Sometimes it seems it's full of strife.
You wander around searching for life's treasures,
Except nothing you pick up brings you pleasure.

But those sands that keep making your spirit feel rough with sadness,
Are going to be conquered by the waves of gladness,
Because when the tide comes in and washes away your tears,
It's going to bring in things you'll cherish for years.

So, when your shores start to seem bare and empty,
Just remember your life won't always be sandy.
For when the tide comes in you'll feel great pleasure,
When the tide comes in you'll get your treasure.
