How Persistent Are You?

Persistence

"The mind, once expanded to the dimensions of larger ideas, never returns to its original size."
--- Oliver Wendell Holmes

No matter how far one falls down, they can always climb back up to where they were and beyond.

Hurricane Katrina destroyed our house. With great expectations and persistence we were back in our home within fifteen months after the storm. Only persistence is (Precious) Valuable!

No one ever rises above low expectations. So many people were saying doomsday. I was expecting something good to happen. When I expect something good to happen, I do something to help make it happen. The reason being, I want to be right. Nobody wants to be wrong. The number one thing I want is to right. Now the question lingers; what do I want to be right about?

People who really crash big time can come back if they only know in their heart of hearts what Oliver Wendell Holmes was talking about. No matter how bad things seem, you can come back with great expectations! It happens every day to many people.

When I was a kid, there was a commercial that said, "Take a BC powder and come back strong." It was a pain reliever for back pain.

People, who work hard, play hard, crash hard! However once your mind experiences prosperity, it can do it again and again.

Many millionaires have been bankrupt, down and out. With the memory of what once was, they come back because they remember how they climbed inch by inch life is a cinch. The turtle beat the rabbit. They do not beat a dead horse. The horse is dead.

Al Copeland, founder of Popeye Fried Chicken, gave a ten second speech to the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce. He said in so many words. "If I lose everything I have, I know how to get it back again." The older people in the audience applauded. The younger people in the audience were confused about the statement.

I love to tell people to keep dancing! It means exactly what it says. Keep moving toward your genius. Talent does what it can. Genius does what it must!
