All power is there. Stand up and express the divinity with you... Arise, awake, sleep no more. With each of you there is the power to remove all wants and all miseries. Believe in this, that power will be manifested."

"When confronted with a mountain, the secret to climb to the very top is not to look at it as one big obstacle, but rather many small obstacles. If a mountain is 8,000 metres high, think of it as eight 1,000 metre obstacles. When confronted with large problems, try to break them up into smaller ones by taking it one step at a time. When we do this and reach the top, the outlook is great."

One must make deliberate efforts to keep his/her thoughts and mindset renewed. I came to this realization a few days ago as I went through motivational quotes I wrote down some years back. The result on me was tremendously refreshing! I felt rejuvenated!

"Think excitement, talk excitement, act out excitement, and you are bound to become an excited person. Life will take on a new zest, deeper interest and greater meaning. Make friends with freedom & uncertainty. Look forward to dreams. Cry during movies. Swing as high as you can on a swingset, by moonlight. Cultivate moods. Do it for love. Take lots of naps. Believe in magic. Laugh a lot. Celebrate every gorgeous moment. Take moonbaths. Have wild imaginings, transformative dreams, and perfect calm. Draw on the walls. Read everyday. Imagine yourself magic. Giggle with children. Listen to old people. Open up. Dive in. Be free. Bless yourself. Drive away fear. Play with everything. Entertain your inner child. You are innocent. "The human mind is the most malleable thing in the creation. You say to it, 'I can't'...it gives up. There is defeat even before the battle is begun. You say to it day after day, 'I can', and follow it up with discipline, persistence and hard work... then Success is yours even before you realize it and easier than you thought."

I adopted this myself when I felt everything was lost and I was doomed. I thought Life was constantly moving from a 'frying pan' to the 'fire'. With this 'mantra' everyday... at first, everyday was 'attempting to survive from one disaster to another'. Then, it seemed maybe, 'Achieving was not that difficult'. When the positive way of thought became the order of the day then it seemed, 'Success was a foregone conclusion and a setback here and there was just an aberration!' Finally, the real joy was that 'Life seemed worthwhile'. I want every soul out there to feel this way. Three cheers to the 'Greatness of the Malleability of the Human Mind'.
